This week in physical education the students at Osuna are learning basic tumbling skills. We start with 3 warm-up laps which are followed by our stretching routine and then basic positions.
5 Basic Positions:
We then move on to basic balances. All balances we preform must be held for a minimum of 3 seconds. We start balances by balancing on any 6 body parts, and then we move to 5 body parts, and then 4, 3, 2, and finally 1 body part. After these balances are performed we learn basic gymnastic balances.

After balances are performed we move to basic rolls:
5 Basic Rolls
1. Log Roll
2. Egg Roll
3. Forward Roll to pike
4. Forward Roll to stand
5. Backward roll (if students show they are ready)
Cartwheels are performed last if students show they are ready.
